About DJ Ramsey 

DJ Ramsey’s career is built squarely on passion for music and a love for art. As a self-taught DJ/VJ it was his love affair with creating and mixing tracks that drove him into the profession. Originally from Colorado, then falling in love with the art of Djing in 99' while living in Dallas he quickly mastered the art and skills needed to rock venues from coast to coast!

Now based in San Diego, he is one of Southern California’s premiere DJ/Video DJ’s and has garnered an expansive following and fanbase. He has also expanded his playlist to the "Open Format" Mulch-Genre Club rocking sets, to the underground bass sounds of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Moombahton, and Electro, all while still Djing using custom Music Video content. Ramsey’s passion and appreciation for music is infectious and because of it he easily commands the crowds and clubs he plays. His resume shows his mastery of the turntables with experience spinning at some of the most prestigious clubs in the nation such as The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Belo and Altitude in San Diego as well as various locations in Dallas, Denver, Chicago and New York.

Not being content to stay one dimensional Ramsey took on a new challenge in 2008 and learned the art of Video DJing. In just a year’s time he earned a spot competing against some of the nation’s finest VDJ’s in the Video DJ Challenge at Miami’s annual Winter Music Conference. During the WMC he was a featured VDJ and played alongside other artists including Eclectic Method in the Ultra Video Tent. Add to that his weekly video mix show on Jelly Radio which attracts a global audience and solidifies DJ Ramsey as one of the most prominent VDJ’s nationwide.
