TRUE BASS PRESENTS – REFIX – FROM THE UK!!!!
Fresh after there release on Ministry of Sound – Dubstep Darker 2011- Making 1st West Coast Appearance -

South London Dubstep trio formed in 2007, Refix have been regulars on the DJ circuit in London and the UK for some time. Known for playing a wide array of dance music from House to Dubstep, Refix have earned the reputation of being reliable dance floor fillers taking listeners on an unpredictable and enthralling musical journey.

Over the past four years, the boys have been continually honing their production skills across a massive array of dance music genres in their South-London studio, eventually settling on Dubstep as their current genre of choice.

Their gigs have landed them residencies at Ministry of Sound, Union @ Fabric, Herbal, Movement @ Bar Rumba as well as a set for Mixmag magazine. Between them the lads have worked across a massive musical spectrum, from writing and producing Electronica and Hip-Hop releases, engineering old school garage and pop tracks, composing music for TV, film and advertising, to DJ-ing at some of the biggest and best venues around the world.

Refix’s debut release, Soldier, featuring singer-songwriter, Taji, is a different kind of Dubstep. Simply put, Soldier, is a carefully crafted vocal track that drops as well on the dancefloor as it does in the living room. Refix’s follow-up release, Hope, strives to achieve the same balance. Featuring acclaimed New York singer-songwriter, Emily Zuzik, whose recent collaboration with US artist Moby has been widely praised by critics and listeners alike, Hope is beautiful sultry track that still drops hard and is regarded by the lads as a very natural and consistent progression from their earlier work.
